Supply Chain Management Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain, ensuring high service levels and achieving cost optimization goals. They will create orders, establish and develop suppliers, and negotiate contracts to support plant operations.

  • Manage inventory using the latest concepts of value costing and transparent pricing terms for metals and commodities.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for:

  • Creating orders and establishing, developing, and positioning suppliers of propellants and explosives.
  • Negotiating contracts and managing order creation for plant operations.
  • Managing inventory on the latest concepts of value costing and transparent pricing terms for metals and commodities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in defense/aerospace/aviation supply chain management environment, preferably in procurement/supply chain management function with a focus on propellants and explosives domain.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with suppliers, especially defense commodities (propellants, explosives etc).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work experience in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
