About the Role:

As a Content Strategy Lead at Cvent, you will bring empathy and creativity to UX design, advocating for users and collaborating with product designers, researchers, and managers to craft compelling narratives. If you excel at crafting engaging stories, solving complex user problems, and making microcopy clear and human, we want to hear from you.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for content design and UX throughout the organization, driving influence and strategic direction
  • Partner in defining the vision and strategy for UXCD and Cvent products, guiding implementation through collaboration
  • Mentor junior designers, developing key skills and career growth guidance
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture within UX, participating in mentoring and other activities
  • Lead partnership efforts with PMs, marketing, and stakeholders to ensure consistency and continuity of language across products
  • Participate in business discussions, aligning UX objectives with revenue goals, user needs, and business objectives
  • Lead research initiatives and analysis, delegating projects to junior designers for learning opportunities
  • Review and provide feedback to junior content designers, supporting growth and quality improvement

Requirements:

We seek an experienced leader with:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Writing, Communications, Design, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, or related field
  • 3+ years of management/leadership experience
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior content designers
  • Possession of goal-setting, coaching, and development skills to achieve targeted results
  • Passion for creating great user experiences and improving lives through design and technology
  • Experience working with product designers, engineers, and product managers
  • Understanding of human-centered design principles and techniques
  • Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to details
  • Interest in growth, learning, and receiving feedback to improve skills
  • Strong eye for grammar and respect for content style, voice, and tone
  • Ability to manage personal and project timelines
  • Adaptability and strong emotional intelligence

$150,000 - $180,000 per year
