Senior Accounting Professional

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing audit and review engagements, preparing tax returns, and leading projects from start to finish.

As a key member of our accounting team, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide expert guidance on tax compliance and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage audit and review engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Prepare accurate and complete tax returns for clients, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Develop and lead project plans, assigning tasks and coordinating the work of team members to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in public accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior or supervisor role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
