About the Job

This is a key position as it involves management of the entire Data centres and production support of critical applications working from DCs.

The successful candidate must be involved in new projects/requirements related to network and security from design phase, procurement, and implementation.

  • Maintain 100% uptime of WAN and LAN network.
  • Manage entire Network and Security infrastructure of Data Centre as well as LAN.
  • Support Business Continuity Planning drills.
  • Define network and security policies, procedures and RARTPs.
  • Handle all Internal as well as external audits for processes related to the Network and Security infrastructure.
  • Closure of Vulnerability Assessment/Penetration Testing related observation to Network and Security devices.
  • Capacity management of network and Security devices.
  • Review the change management for any new requirement or changes in existing network and Security infrastructure.
  • Vendor management.
  • Designing and upgrading the Network and Security infrastructure. This includes understanding current capacity of devices installed in Data centre, discussions with application teams for any future requirements. Based on the inputs received initiate discussion with System Integrators/OEM related to sizing of devices, finalizing the devices/services, which needs to be procured and provide technical inputs required to higher management.
  • Handle the entire Procurement process towards purchase of devices for projects related to network. These involve Solution finalisation, Preparation of Request For Proposal, co-ordination/negotiation with vendors and OEMs, Purchase Order to vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high availability of data centre operations and ensure seamless service delivery.

• Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure to include data centre operations, LAN/WAN networks and cybersecurity.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including application owners, business leaders and vendors.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions that meet business needs.

• Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to excellence through role modelling our company values.

What You Will Need:

  • 8-10 years experience in network administration and/or IT infrastructure management.
  • Deep understanding of network and Security infrastructure, prior experience in implementing, administering and troubleshooting in network and security devices.
  • Ability to grasp newer technologies and manage new procurements accordingly.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNA/CCNP-Routing & Switching; CCNA-Security certifications.
  • Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching (IOS XE, Cat-OS and NX-OS).
  • Experience with Cisco Firewalls/Proxy.
  • Knowledge of SDWAN.
