Job Overview

: A key role in our logistics process is that of a skilled logistics coordinator. In this capacity, the individual will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of goods from one place to another. This includes dispatching drivers, communicating with warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery, and tracking shipments to keep clients informed about the status of their loads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the dispatch of drivers for loading and unloading goods.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse teams to guarantee that goods are ready for collection at the designated time.
  • Monitor shipments and provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their loads.
  • Address any issues that may arise during loading or unloading and implement swift solutions.
  • Keep accurate records of all shipments, driver logs, and load details.
  • Ensure that safety protocols and handling procedures are always followed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in logistics coordination or a related field.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of Excel and dispatch software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems efficiently.
