Role Summary

We're seeking a seasoned engineer to drive advancements in mixed-signal SoC design.

This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in complex circuit and device interactions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cadence tool sets and proficiency in scripting languages.

They must be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to influence design methodologies and tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design complex mixed-signal SoCs for various applications, balancing performance, power, and area considerations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement high-speed clock rates and signal processing hardware.
  • Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge process technologies and emerging trends, applying this knowledge to optimize designs.
  • Hands-on experience with Genus, Innovus, Tempus, and Voltus is required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in digital place and route, with a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Proficiency in TCL, Perl, and other scripting languages, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with static timing analysis, constraint development, and sign-off processes.
  • Knowledge of device/interconnect aspects of complex UDSM technologies.
  • Strong expertise in floor planning, power planning, place and route, clock planning, and clock tree synthesis.
