Acuity Knowledge Partners is a leading provider of innovative research solutions. We are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Equity Research Associate to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced equity researcher with a strong background in finance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in equity research and possess a graduation degree from a reputable institution, along with being CFA L3 cleared or holding an MBA in Finance.

The successful candidate will have expertise in sectors such as healthcare, industrial, TMT, and auto. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex financial models with scenario analysis, carrying out DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant valuation methods, creating accurate assumptions and valuations with rationale, and screening large datasets to identify investment ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models with scenario analysis
  • Valuation Methods: Carry out DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant valuation methods
  • Assumption Development: Create accurate assumptions and valuations with rationale
  • Data Screening: Screen large datasets to identify investment ideas
  • Investment Decision Support: Assist Portfolio Managers/Chief Investment Officers in their investment decisions
  • Investment Idea Discussion: Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with Portfolio Managers/Chief Investment Officers
  • Research Support: Prepare earnings reviews, previews, attend conference calls, and management meetings
  • Presentation Preparation: Prepare pitch notes/presentations, industry, and thematic notes
  • Database Management: Create and update databases
  • News Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze news
  • Ad Hoc Research Requests: Handle ad hoc research requests
