Financial Performance Analyst Role Summary

The Financial Performance Analyst plays a vital role in our organization by providing financial expertise to support business growth and success. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and account analysis.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, highlighting key trends and insights.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
