Job Title: Financial Analyst Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to support our accounts team in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations. As a Financial Analyst Assistant, you will assist in clearing pending accounting backlogs, record financial transactions, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and streamline accounting backlogs (data entry, reconciliations, adjustments).
  • Support the accounts team in recording purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries in Tally Prime.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and cross-checking ledger balances.
  • Ensure timely completion of GST, TDS, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing and organization of invoices, challans, and vouchers.
  • Prepare and update supporting schedules as directed by senior accountants.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the accounts team for ongoing work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with Tally Prime is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
