Lead Data Engineer-Solution Architect Role Overview

This key leadership position in our technology division is responsible for spearheading the development of innovative data architectures and solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data architecture solutions that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical strategies to address them.
  • Leverage expertise in data modeling techniques, methodologies, and technologies to ensure seamless data integration and processing.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using programming languages like Python, .NET Core, and FastAPI.
  • Work closely with data engineers and scientists to design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.
  • Ensure data security patterns are implemented to protect sensitive information and adhere to regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in data architecture or engineering roles, with a focus on insurance domains.
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of data architecture within large-scale transformation programs or projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data modelling techniques and methodologies.
  • Hands-on expertise across various database and data transformation technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based data architectures and platforms.
  • Expertise in ensuring data security patterns.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization methods and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of insurance policy operations, regulations, and compliance frameworks specific to Consumer lines.
  • Understanding of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning concepts as they pertain to data architecture.
