Advanced Windows Server Support Specialist

Our organization seeks a seasoned Advanced Windows Server Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with expertise in providing advanced support for Windows Server environments, including system administration, patching, and performance optimization.

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and domain services in complex multi-site environments. Additionally, you will administer and support virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V), including provisioning, resource allocation, and optimization.

Key qualifications for this position include proficiency in Terminal servers (Admin mode) & Windows Clustering, with expertise in Storage, Networking, Firewall, and backup Applications/devices. Experience with VMware components and performance/network trace analysis for Servers is also essential.

As an Advanced Windows Server Support Specialist, you will resolve technical issues within SLA's, supporting Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD Sync. You will also administer backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup), conducting regular restore tests and policy tuning.

Other responsibilities include performing Root Cause Analysis for incidents, capacity planning, server migrations, DR drills, and system upgrades. You will handle L2/L3 technical escalations, collaborating with Local & Global Teams to deliver effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022)
  • Proficiency in system administration, patching, and performance optimization
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of Terminal servers (Admin mode) & Windows Clustering
  • Skills in scripting and automation
  • Strong problem-solving capability
