Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Specialist

About This Role

This role is accountable for providing technical leadership and expertise to our Oracle Database program, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Database technologies and be able to interface with various stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes by performing daily system monitoring and reviewing system logs.
  • Collaborate with Application Owners/Vendors/External partners to design and implement storage, backup, Wintel, and virtualization requirements that meet Oracle Database needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and evaluate their potential to strengthen our Oracle Database setup, working closely with OEMs and considering business requirements.
  • Provide level 3/4 support on Oracle Database-related issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing solutions.
  • Possess a solid working knowledge of Windows, Linux, TCP/IP networking, SQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Serve as a liaison for auditing and regulatory examinations related to Oracle Database plans and processes.
  • Maintain ISO Standards/Processes in areas of datacenter services, including facilities, and facilitate audits to identify vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Oversee the execution of patch deployments as per scheduled Infosec vulnerability identification.

  • Strong technical expertise in Oracle Database technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, TCP/IP networking, SQL, and Oracle databases.
