As a Data Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining scalable data infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure seamless data flow throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement efficient data infrastructure solutions.
  • Oversee data storage strategies to ensure optimal data integrity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data science, analytics, product management, and IT.
  • Ensure optimal data pipeline architecture and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Establish processes for data quality, validation, monitoring, and reporting.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling. You should also be proficient in SQL, Python, PySpark, and/or Scala programming languages, and have hands-on experience with big data processing platforms.

You should be familiar with big data technologies such as Spark and Kafka, and have experience implementing data governance frameworks and security best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • 5+ year's experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, and/or Scala programming languages.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with big data processing platforms.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Kafka).
  • Experience in implementing data governance frameworks and security best practices.
