Pricing Analyst Job Description

The role of a Pricing Analyst is to identify business opportunities, recommend solutions, document requirements, and communicate the requirements and direction of new and existing products that meet market demand and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of ATPCO Automated Rules processing is required.
  • Provide innovative solutions for shopping, pricing, reissues, and refunds using ATPCO fares and rules.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage projects through concept, development, and implementation.
  • Create project requirements documents that define all requirements.
  • Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Support implementation and launch to market including managing pilots and beta tests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience in the travel industry (preferably with an airline reservation system or GDS).
  • Explicit knowledge of ATPCO Automated Rules processing including automated reissues and refunds.
  • Strong overall knowledge of ATPCO fares, pricing, and data application.
  • Strong business requirements gathering and documentation capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of IATA Fare Construction is a plus.
