Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Organic Compound Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our research department, you will be responsible for designing, synthesizing, and characterizing organic compounds for various applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Execute Synthesis Routes: Develop and implement efficient synthesis routes to target organic compounds.
  • Purification and Characterization: Perform purification and characterization of organic molecules using advanced analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges.
  • Record Keeping and Communication: Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations, and effectively communicate findings to the team.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology, organic chemistry, or related field(s), or evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Industrial Experience: 1-2+ years of industrial experience preferred.
  • Nice to Have: Master's degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology, organic chemistry, or related field(s).
  • Key Skills: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques, hands-on experience with organic synthesis, purification, and characterization methods, proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced research environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in scientific research.
