We are seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to join our team of experts in the design, development, and optimization of column internals such as trays, structured packings, random packings, distributors, and demisters.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a key role in process design, performance evaluation, and customer support to ensure high-efficiency solutions for clients. This includes:

  • Designing and optimizing column internals to improve mass transfer and separation processes.
  • Conducting process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.
  • Collaborating with mechanical and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
  • Performing hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.
  • Evaluating and troubleshooting operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance.
  • Preparing technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles.
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.
  • Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
