Job Title: Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and executing test plans and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications, systems, or products.

About the Role

This role involves collaborating with development teams to identify defects, verify functionality, and validate performance to meet project requirements and customer expectations.

The Quality Assurance Professional will be responsible for both manual and automated testing techniques, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and strategies based on project requirements and specifications
  • Test Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover functional, performance, and usability aspects of software applications or systems
  • Test Execution: Execute test cases and procedures, both manually and using automated testing tools, to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Defect Management: Document and track defects using issue tracking systems, such as Jira or Bugzilla, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not adversely impact existing functionality and performance
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing, load testing, and stress testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under different conditions
  • Test Reporting: Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and findings to project stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements and corrective actions

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium or Appium
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
