Area Operations ManagerJob Description:We are seeking an experienced professional to manage a cluster/region of hotels/hospitality properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high service quality experience is delivered to guests, overseeing various functions in their region including front office, housekeeping, guest relations, F&B, maintenance & engineering, human resources, etc.The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and time-management skills, as well as the ability to work closely with hotel/hostel specific teams and other departments in the company.Responsibilities:
  1. Understand the company's vision, operational structure, organisational hierarchy, user demographics, etc.
  2. Implement company operations standard operating procedures (SOPs) within your region.
  3. Oversee regional operations, ensuring adherence to company-defined standards in all departments.
  4. Foster a positive work environment and oversee human resource development, training, etc.
  5. Conduct regular audits to monitor service quality and identify improvements.
  6. Manage operational budgets by adequate resource allocations and minimising expenses via cost-effective strategies.
  7. Supervise timely hostel pre-launches, ensuring operational readiness and quality checks.
  8. Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing escalations and implementing service improvements.
  9. Work with other internal departments and build relationships with industry professionals.
  10. Regularly optimise SOPs to build a high service quality experience for guests.
Qualifications:We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in hospitality/hotel management.
  2. Min. 6 years experience in the hospitality industry, with extensive operational experience in managing multiple properties or regions.
  3. Proven track record of successfully scaling teams, managing diverse operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and time-management skills.
  5. Fluency in English and local language is a MUST.
  6. Willingness to travel and manage hotels/hostels across various locations.
