Database Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Database Developer to join our team.

  • A database developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain database objects using PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Write, debug, and optimize complex PL/SQL code to support business logic and data processing.
  • Work on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and contribute to data warehousing solutions.
  • Tune database performance and optimize queries to ensure high efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with other developers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
  • Participate in database design and data modeling to support new and existing applications.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of database solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience: 4 to 8 years of professional experience in database development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in writing, debugging, and optimizing PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
    • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
    • Familiarity with database performance tuning and query optimization.
    • Knowledge of database design and data modeling principles.
