**Job Title:** Senior Oracle Database Architect

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of database developers and ensuring the design, development, test, release, maintenance, and technical support of Oracle Database development.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, release, maintain, and provide technical support for Oracle Database development.
  • Review and improve existing PL/SQL packages for performance, tuning, and changes.
  • Analyze query execution plans and optimize queries for speed and resource utilization.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
  • Work closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to support database-related needs.
  • Develop scripts and tools for database monitoring, management, and automation.
  • Identify and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex database-related problems.
  • Lead a team of database developers and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database.
  • Coding skills to write complex SQL queries, Views and MVs.
  • Experience with PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers.
  • Ability to lead a team of database developers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to evolve with a rapidly changing environment.
  • Maintains knowledge of current and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6-10 years' experience in database development and leadership.
  • Knowledge of product-based software is preferred.
