Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to administer and manage Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and install Oracle Database software and related components, such as Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle RAC.
  • Implement database patches, upgrades, and version migrations under the guidance of senior DBAs.
  • Establish and configure database instances, including creating Oracle databases and applying required configurations.
  • Monitor database performance using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager, AWR reports, ASH reports, and SQL tracing.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through optimizations, including SQL tuning, indexing, and database parameter adjustments.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/18c/19c or higher.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture and internal mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and automating tasks.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager and other Oracle diagnostic tools.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies, and database security.
