As a MEP Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and planning building systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

  • Design and Planning:

Create comprehensive designs for building systems that optimize energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimize environmental impact. This includes selecting and specifying equipment, materials, and components for all MEP systems.

  • Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems during the design, installation, and operational phases.

  • System Management:

Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of equipment and components for all MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.

  • Compliance:

Evaluate MEP systems against relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards to guarantee safe and efficient operation.

  • Efficiency and Sustainability:

Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption, water usage, and waste generation in buildings.

  • Documentation:

Prepare detailed drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for all MEP scope of work.

  • Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to MEP systems during the design, installation, or operational phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge:

Possess a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power systems, and water distribution.

  • Project Management:

Demonstrate ability to manage project timelines and resources related to MEP installations.

  • Communication:

Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving:

Show aptitude for critical thinking and resolving complex technical challenges.

  • Attention to Detail:

Display precision in reviewing designs and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6-8 years of experience, preferably in high-rise buildings, residential buildings, and townships.
