MEP Modelling Specialist

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing detailed models from drawings, sketches and calculations for MEP systems, encompassing architectural design, civil engineering elements, interior fit-out and landscape works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation for MEP services from schematic design through construction phases for architecture, interior and landscape design schemes.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, design engineers, interior designers, and project managers to understand design intent and project requirements.
  • Proficiency in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support to the project team.
  • Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines.
  • Follow established BIM execution plans and adhere to project specific documentation. Ensure models follow established standards and goals in the BIM execution plan.
  • Create discipline specific BIM system families for projects.
  • Generate accurate floor plans, sections, details, schedules and quantity take-offs.
  • Ensure in development of coordinated and clash-free models in coordination with the design team.
  • Ensure all models comply with project design intent, relevant building codes, standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain and organize Revit project files, libraries, and standards.
  • Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in MEP Engineering Design.
  • Fresher to 8 years of experience as a Revit Modeller with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in modelling MEP services in architectural and interior fit-out projects.
  • Ability to take lead in resolving issues and challenges.
  • Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and building materials.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP drawings.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and details.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
