Electrical Design Engineer

Job Overview

  • We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in designing electrical systems for buildings, including distribution panels, lighting, and cable management.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and experience working on complex projects using software tools like Dialux and Amtech.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems, conduct load estimation, voltage drop calculations, and short circuit calculations to ensure safe and efficient building operations.
  • Develop ELV systems, including fire alarm, PAVA, CCTV, and SCS, and maintain knowledge of NEC, CPWD international codes and practices.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments to provide expert solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 4-15 years of experience in consultant design and managing complex building services MEP Design.
  • Master's degree holders are given preference.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and contractors.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT-MEP, and Navisworks.
