Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled distributed database professional to lead our infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support for distributed database deployments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to schema, data consistency, and performance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and improvements to our database systems.
  3. Work closely with engineers to identify and prioritize areas for improvement in our database infrastructure.
  4. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for our database systems, including configuration files, API documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in distributed database systems, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in API development using Go (Golang).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bazel, YAML, or Terraform.
  • Basic understanding of database design and schema concepts.
  • Solid debugging experience with logs and monitoring tools across complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based distributed database systems.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Puppet.
