Customer Engagement Specialist Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing customer engagement campaigns using the Braze platform. As a skilled technical professional, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized messaging experiences across multiple channels.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing, configuring, and maintaining campaigns in Braze using Liquid templating and Canvas. You will also integrate Braze with backend systems via REST APIs, Webhooks, and SDKs, as well as implement event tracking, user attributes, and audience segmentation.

To succeed in this position, you will need to troubleshoot and optimize message delivery, personalization, and performance. Additionally, you will ensure best practices in user privacy, compliance, and data security. Your excellent communication and documentation skills will enable you to provide technical support and training to internal teams on using Braze.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and maintain campaigns in Braze using Liquid templating and Canvas.
  • Integrate Braze with backend systems via REST APIs, Webhooks, and SDKs.
  • Implement event tracking, user attributes, and audience segmentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand campaign requirements and translate them into Braze workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize message delivery, personalization, and performance.
  • Ensure best practices in user privacy, compliance, and data security.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams on using Braze.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience working with Braze platform.
  • Experience working with Braze SDKs (iOS, Android, or Web).
  • Familiarity with Braze Currents and data streaming to external platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Segment).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
