The role of Service Director Environmental Services is a pivotal position within the Global Excellence Centre, playing a key part in supporting the global Services strategy and excellence. The primary goal is to drive excellence in GEC service delivery within the service area, positioning GEC as a centre of excellence globally.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced professional with significant experience in delivering high-quality services. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of influencing and collaborating at a strategic level, as well as leadership skills at a detailed service level. They should be able to coach and bring out the best in their teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise. Additionally, they should have a strategic mindset, enabling them to collate information across the business and develop opportunities to benefit the service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Significant professional experience in the service (15 years or more)* Excellent influencing and collaboration skills at a strategic level* Leadership skills at a detailed service level* Strategic mindset* Ability to coach and bring out the best in your teams* Strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise* Driven to achieve outcomes* Able to see from others' perspectives* Ability to lead service expert groups* Willingness to mentor and sponsor people in your service* Support communities and social activities that show good leadership and support Arcadis sustainability objectives
