Job Role Overview:

The Night Auditor/Manager is responsible for overseeing overnight front desk and accounting tasks, acting as the primary contact for late-night guests. Key responsibilities include balancing and reconciling financial transactions, preparing daily financial reports, and ensuring smooth guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes guests with a warm and friendly demeanor overnight.
  • Handles reservations and arranges amenities like wake-up calls, taxis, and shuttle services.
  • Assists VIPS and VVIPS in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with follow-up as necessary.
  • Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts and processes invoices.
  • Balances cash drawers, processes credit card transactions, and verifies receipts.
  • Tracks key financial metrics such as room occupancy rates and revenues.
  • Prepares end-of-day reports and summary cash balances for hotel management.
  • Verifies completion of end-of-day tasks by previous shifts.
  • Communicates with departments like housekeeping and maintenance to ensure service delivery.
  • Oversees the hotel safe and ensures security of guest valuables.
  • Audits and reconciles the hotel's daily financial accounts, including revenue, charges, and payments.
  • Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Provides pre-arrival support for guests arriving on packages.
  • Maintains knowledge of essential hotel operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of front desk experience at managerial level.
  • Basic math and accounting skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field.
