Quality Assurance Leader Position

This leadership role oversees quality assurance across various projects, focusing on strategic planning, team management, and automation framework development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manual and automation testing, excellent leadership skills, and experience with Agile methodologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing quality assurance strategies to ensure high-quality releases that align with product, engineering, and delivery teams.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on planning, execution, and reviews.
  • Designing, extending, and standardizing hybrid automation frameworks, page-object patterns, and reusable libraries.
  • Driving manual testing excellence through planning, guiding, and ensuring high-quality test evidence and reporting.
  • Introducing AI-assisted testing where valuable, ensuring human-in-the-loop governance.
  • Collaborating on shift-left/shift-right practices, including quality at source, contract testing, production observability, and canary/feature-flag testing.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in QA, with 2-3 years in a leadership role across manual and automation testing in Agile environments.
  • Strong hands-on automation experience in at least one major stack (e.g., Java + Selenium/TestNG; API testing with Rest Assured/Postman; CI tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across product, engineering, DevOps, and support teams.
