Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Culinary Leader to oversee the preparation and cooking of food products onboard our ships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- SUPERVISE AND COORDINATE ACTIVITIES OF KITCHEN STAFF, ensuring smooth operation of food preparation and presentation.
- DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT MENUS, taking into account guest preferences and dietary requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on kitchen procedures and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and control costs, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as dining services and housekeeping, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- 4-6 years of experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship kitchen, preferably in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of culinary arts, including food safety, nutrition, and menu planning.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Intermediate computer software skills, including familiarity with kitchen management systems and accounting principles.
- Culinary school degree required, with certification in food safety and sanitation a plus.
