BIM Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join our team. As a BIM Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality watermains, piping layouts, and profile drawings according to BIM/CAD standards.

  • Responsible for preparing conceptual sketches and detailed construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D software with quality and accuracy under high-level guidance.
  • Preparation of Revit MEP, HVAC, Electrical models for building information modeling and project coordination.
  • Production of drawings to ensure compliance with client drafting standards and quality requirements.
  • Assistance in completing BIM/CAD tasks as directed by senior BIM/CAD technicians or engineers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering Discipline.
  • 3-8 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and Autodesk Civil 3D design.
  • Strong team player, responsible for quality drawing production and self-check of drawings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with BIM processes and standards.
  • Knowledge of additional software tools related to civil engineering.
