Training Development Manager Job Overview

This position involves creating, implementing and overseeing employee training programs across multiple hotel properties to ensure high service quality, operational efficiency, and brand compliance.

This role partners with hotel leadership teams to identify training needs, develop property-specific learning strategies, and equip team members with the skills and knowledge required for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Design, create and deliver core training programs for onboarding, brand standards, guest service, compliance, and operations across all assigned hotels.
  • Customize training content to reflect the unique needs and culture of each property while maintaining brand alignment.
  • Implement blended learning strategies including in-person, on-the-job, virtual, and e-learning formats.
  • Ensure consistency in training quality across all properties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee development, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or related field (desired).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a training role within the hospitality industry, with multi-property exposure preferred.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and instructional design is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and oversee employee training and development programs across multiple hotel properties.

Collaborate with hotel leadership teams to identify training needs and create property-specific learning plans.

Deliver core training programs for onboarding, brand standards, guest service, compliance, and operations across all assigned hotels.

Monitor and analyze performance data, guest feedback, and quality audit scores to identify training gaps and areas for improvement.

Support succession planning by identifying internal talent and preparing them for future roles.
