Procurement Training Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead training programs for strategic sourcing and supply chain teams.

The ideal candidate will design and deliver engaging training sessions on procurement processes, vendor management, contract negotiation, cost reduction, supply planning, and ERP systems.

  • Training Delivery:
  • Develop and conduct hands-on training in procurement strategies, supplier risk assessment, and cost optimization techniques.
  • Curriculum Development:
  • Design and update training materials, case studies, and practical simulations tailored to the medical devices, automotive, and electrical industries.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify gaps in procurement processes and recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Management – lead cross-functional teams to evaluate and develop suppliers.
  • Vendor Management & Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) – monitor supplier performance and develop development programs.
  • Contract Negotiation & Risk Management – manage commercial terms, SLAs, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Cost Reduction & Value Engineering – implement cost-saving initiatives and process optimization.
  • Supply Planning & Inventory Management – integrate procurement planning with production demand.
  • ERP Systems Expertise – lead SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement module implementations.
  • Cross-Industry Knowledge – apply expertise in procurement processes across multiple manufacturing sectors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business Administration with 10+ years of experience.
  • Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, and CIPS are preferred.
