Job Description

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory submissions are uploaded in the IRDA portal on time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Periodically upload regulatory submissions after obtaining concurrence from relevant stakeholders (Operations, Customer Care, Business Products, Finance, PO & Insurers).
  • Familiarize yourself with submission processes for new business, schedules, SPs, complaints, financial statements, and compliance certificates, and submit them to the regulator within stipulated timelines.
  • Track, align, ensure, and coordinate with respective business units and BIU teams to maintain regulatory registers in the appropriate format and submit them to IRDAI.
  • Notify regulators about branch openings and closures, directorship changes, regulatory charges, and other required communications.
  • Upload, track, and review salesperson and SP details periodically.
  • Ensure all applicable licenses are procured, renewed, and coordinated with relevant stakeholders according to guidelines.
  • Issue NOCs for exited SPs and detag PAN in IRDAI and Envoy portals while maintaining records.
  • Apply for telemarketing licenses according to guidelines and submit regulatory data to IRDAI as per stipulated guidelines.
  • Keep track of and renew IRDAI CA licenses, PO, ISNP, Envoy, and other licenses along with PO and relevant stakeholders.
  • Track regulatory checklists (IRDAI data maintenance, registers, timely submissions, grievances, etc.) completely with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with finance, product teams, and insurers for monthly reconciliation sign-offs, ensuring gaps identified are followed up.
  • Maintain and track agreements with insurers, SLAs, and commission structures.
  • Track grievances from the grievance team, insurers, and coordinate resolutions with insurers, business, product, and branch teams.
  • Provide audit checklists and coordinate with functional audit teams to track resolution for branches.
  • Provide compliance checklists to MFL's compliance team and coordinate/tracking AML cases with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Bookkeep litigation cases, update the regulator as needed.

Requirements

We require a candidate with 4-8 years of experience in a similar domain.
