Job Opportunity: Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security division, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our Microsoft Security Go-to-Market strategy within aligned industry verticals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with expertise in vertical-specific requirements such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and FFIEC. They will be responsible for guiding the strategic development and execution of our security capabilities, driving measurable business outcomes in FinServ, Healthcare, or Retail.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted security advisor in assigned verticals, participating in high-value customer engagement and leading executive briefings, discovery sessions, proposals, and strategic account planning.
  • Represent our security expertise at industry events, webinars, and forums, elevating our brand and credibility.
  • Author white papers and contribute to vertical-specific content that showcases best practices and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing and enablement teams to amplify thought leadership and support broader awareness.
Requirements:
  • Computer Science / Information Technology degree or diploma, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including roles such as senior security architect, strategist, or CISO.
  • Equivalent experience or a degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or degrees are highly desirable.
  • Proven success in shaping and executing security strategies and initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes in FinServ, Healthcare, or Retail.
