Job Title: Financial Strategy Director

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking financial leader to spearhead financial operations and drive growth across our retail and online business units. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on executive with a strong commercial acumen, capable of supporting expansion, profitability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for retail and online segments by conducting variance analysis, scenario planning, and KPI tracking to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams as a finance business partner to devise pricing strategies, promotional planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Evaluate and prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports while monitoring and enforcing internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Analyze cash flow projections and working capital requirements, and optimize inventory and receivables to enhance cash conversion cycles.
  • Promote automation and efficiency in financial reporting and analytics, recommending and implementing financial systems and tools as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in retail or e-commerce sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP) and financial modeling in Excel.
