Financial Strategic Partner

The successful candidate will be a seasoned Chartered Accountant with 4–6 years of experience in transaction advisory. They will serve as a strategic financial partner to start-ups and high-growth companies, overseeing budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow, and investor communications.

This role requires the ability to build financial discipline and governance frameworks tailored for scaling businesses. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in client servicing and team management, along with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.

  • Serve as a key advisor on financial strategy and planning, working closely with founders and leadership teams to drive business growth.
  • Lead buy-side/sell-side due diligence projects, including financial health checks, revenue/margin analysis, working capital assessments, and historical reviews.
  • Develop and implement tax structuring advice for business models and transactions, including cross-border setups, holding structures, ESOPs, and exits.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and ensure high-quality deliverables, while maintaining a strong focus on professionalism and responsiveness.

Key Qualifications:

  • CA certification with relevant experience in transaction advisory at a mid-tier boutique advisory or in a start-up finance team.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Prior experience working with start-ups or within the start-up ecosystem is highly desirable.
