Audit Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

The Audit Manager is responsible for leading a team of specialists in preparing and submitting reports, including statutory financial statements, direct and indirect taxes, and other regulatory requirements. The role involves ensuring timely completion of financial statements and tax returns in adherence to global policies.

About the Role
  • Manage dispersed teams for audit and taxation, overseeing accurate and timely submissions.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members, fostering an environment conducive to achieving individual and collective goals.
  • Ensure submission of all tax returns reporting/filing, declarations, and mandated reports, encompassing both direct and indirect taxes.
  • Oversee the precise preparation of financial statements in alignment with Local GAAP.
  • Cultivate a Continuous Process Improvement (CI) mindset to identify efficient ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management: Manage and lead dispersed teams for audit and taxation.
  2. Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
  3. Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tax returns.
  4. Financial Statements: Oversee the precise preparation of financial statements.
  5. Process Improvement: Cultivate a CI mindset to identify efficient ways of working.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a multi-national environment.
  • Leadership expertise with readiness to manage remote teams across different locations.
  • Analytical skills, decision-making skills, change management skills.
