Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead our team in implementing and maintaining high-performance, secure, and available banking applications and infrastructure.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and testing using continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) tools like Bitbucket and Grafana.
  • They will also monitor banking applications and infrastructure using tools like the ELK stack and proactively resolve issues to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.
  • Furthermore, they will optimize application performance, manage capacity, and improve efficiency through data analysis using databases like PostgreSQL and SQL.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with development teams to establish coding best practices, develop automation scripts using languages like Python and Groovy, and have hands-on experience with CICD tools, monitoring and logging tools, and databases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with CICD tools, monitoring and logging tools, and databases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux platforms.
