Job Title: Senior Leadership Position

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team in a senior leadership capacity. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all design-related activities.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • You will work closely with architects, services consultants, and clients to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Coordination: Coordinating and reviewing drawings furnished by consultants, conducting value engineering to optimize design and details from cost and safety parameters.
  • AutoCAD Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in handling AutoCAD drawings, including reading, writing, modifications, changes, etc.
  • Internal Collaboration: Close interaction with internal teams such as PM, Contracts, Engineers, EHS, etc.
  • Design Deliverables: Tracking concept design, GFC drawings, technical specifications, and arranging design meetings for smooth coordination and circulation of minutes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Arranging and preparing MOM preparation of Bar chart Manpower Planning, Material planning, DPR, WPR & MPR, Cashflow statement, various tracking tools like S-curve, EV analysis, Value engineering, risk log preparation, delay log, preparing & maintaining documentation like drawing tracker, site related case studies & best practices, checking contractor bills & measurements.
  • Microsoft Project: Application of Microsoft Project tool for scheduling and tracking.
  • Procurement: Review of Tender documents, Preparation of query list for clarification on Tender documents & BOQ's, Tender event schedule preparation for procurement packages, Prequalification report preparation for shortlisted vendors, Issuing RFP to vendors, preparation of commercial comparative with Savills recommended rates for negotiations, Recommendation report preparation, draft work order preparation for finalized vendors.
