Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Design Leader to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of user-centered design solutions for our retail convenience consumer technology in Bangalore.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the design vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. You will lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of UX/UI designers, researchers, and content professionals.

Responsibilities include overseeing the end-to-end design process from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and final implementation, partnering closely with product management, engineering, and business teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and innovative design solutions.

You will champion user research and data-driven design, ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations in convenience retail environments. Establish and enforce design best practices, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.

Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of UX/UI design, design systems, interaction design, and user research methodologies.
  • Understanding of retail convenience, consumer technology trends, and digital/physical customer journeys.
  • Proven ability to inspire, mentor, and lead high-performing design teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to address complex user and business challenges.
