At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to take on a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our infrastructure by developing and implementing automation strategies
- Participating in the development and ownership of automation processes for benchmarking
- Onboarding new capabilities in benchmarking
- Collaborating with other teams on Benchmarking capability additions
The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and proficiency in automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run the CI/CD pipeline
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and configure Helm templates
- Utilize a strong DevOps skill set with expertise in tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, Nexus, and Git
- Script in several languages (e.g., Groovy, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or Bash/Shell)
- Configure deployment management tools e.g. Terraform, Chef
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms like AWS, Digital Ocean, or Google Cloud
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and manage configuration management using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Build, manage, and optimize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to enhance system performance, deployment processes, and incident response times
- Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud-specific monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch)
- Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) to ensure efficient application delivery
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure, including patch management, vulnerability scanning, and access control
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to services
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Development and Automation skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Software Development, across multiple languages
- Experience in developing automation strategies and designing automated systems that meet the specific requirements of the organization
- Strong communication, logical thinking, and analytical skills
- Leadership skills to own and execute tasks independently and collaborate with others as needed
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and integrations with multiple tools
