We're seeking a Platform DevOps Engineer to work on one or more public cloud platforms leveraging several PaaS and marketplace services. This role will play a key part in configuring, implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting platform components, including networking, VMs, API management services, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, Kubernetes clusters etc.

This engineer will be expected to write code that bridges the gap between application and infrastructure using tools like Terraform and test the system to be reliable, scalable and resilient.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and security. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources. They'll also monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.

Required skills and qualifications include 3+ years minimum experience in Enterprise IT Environments with at least 2 years of solid hands-on experience in one or more of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources.
  • Monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting cloud environments to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and hands-on working experience.
  • Experience with IAC Code (Terraform or Pulumi).
  • Hands-on experience with implementing Cloud marketplace services and technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking and internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.

Bonus Points:

  • Certification in Kubernetes.
  • Certification in Azure Associate Administrator.
