Cloud & DevOps Engineer

This is a key role in our organization where you will be responsible for designing, enabling and managing application support and production farms across various infrastructure platforms. The position requires a high degree of technical expertise in cloud and DevOps tools, as well as experience in automation, scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing scalable and efficient infrastructure platforms using cloud computing technologies such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Developing and maintaining automated build, deployment and testing processes using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity and Git.
  • Ensuring the reliability and availability of applications and services by implementing monitoring, logging and security measures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders on cloud and DevOps best practices.

Requirements:
  • 9-12 years of experience in DevOps with a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology, or a master's degree in computer science.
  • Expertise in cloud and DevOps tools including AWS, Azure, GCP, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Linkerd, Kuma, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation, Ant, Maven, Make, Gradle, Nexus, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, ELK, EFK, Splunk, Prometheus, OWASP, SAST, DAST, Python, Bash, Shell.
  • Strong understanding of scripting languages including Python, Ant, Bash, Shell.
  • Hands-on experience in designing pipelines and end-to-end deployment processes.
  • Good knowledge of network algorithms and load balancing techniques.
  • Ability to estimate setup time required for infrastructure and build release activities.
  • Capacity planning and infrastructure estimations.
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating system.
  • Understanding of database management systems including MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB.
  • Certification in cloud architecture or professional level.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies.
  • Understanding of load balancing and CDN options provided by multiple cloud vendors.
  • Good working knowledge of migration tools available with cloud vendors.
  • Ability to write complex code and automate recurring tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues quickly.
  • Good knowledge of migrations tools available with cloud vendors and independent providers.
