Database Administration Expert

 

  • Deliver high-performance MongoDB database solutions.
  • Develop and maintain robust database designs, architectures, and setups.
  • Establish comprehensive backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Optimize MongoDB configuration to achieve maximum availability and performance.
  • Design and implement efficient sharding and indexing strategies for MongoDB.
  • Configure and monitor replica sets to ensure data consistency.
  • Perform regular patch upgrades to ensure databases are up-to-date.
  • Build operational infrastructure to support databases, automating tasks where possible.
  • Develop and enforce robust database security procedures.
  • Manage user permissions and access control.
  • Stay current with industry trends and standards, applying knowledge to improve database administration practices.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in MongoDB administration.
  • Profound knowledge of MongoDB concepts, including data modeling, querying, and indexing.
  • Strong understanding of database security principles and practices.
  • Experience with database design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MongoDB Certified Developer or Administrator.
  • Experience with cloud-based database platforms, such as Atlas.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
