Job Overview
Copeland is seeking a highly skilled SCADA proposal development specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Emerson's SCADA products and services, as well as analyzing customer requests for quote (RFQs) and resolving any queries.
Responsibilities
- Generate project proposal deliverables, including bill of materials, technical solutions, and commercial proposals, using various proposal tools to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial estimates.
- Stay up-to-date with newer technologies such as cyber security, virtualization, and level automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and requirements.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to review and tune engineering service estimates and define execution strategies based on customer specifications and constraints.
- Work with procurement teams to evaluate techno-commercial offers.
- Travel to customer sites and other Emerson offices for kick-off meetings, clarifications, site surveys, proposal development, and review meetings in accordance with sales and proposal strategies.
- Maintain adherence to Emerson Automation Solution's ethical values at all times.

Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of at least one legacy SCADA/RTU system.
- Proficient in PC skills and application software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Understanding of project life cycles from concept to commissioning.
- Ability to size and analyze SCADA/RTU/flow computer-based systems according to RFQ requirements.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments.
- Ability to act with clear ownership and hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
Benefits
Copeland offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and insurance coverage.
