Job Description">

The Pricing Analyst III plays a pivotal role in driving company profitability through meticulous cost/pricing analysis within the bid and proposal process. This involves effectively managing the overall cost/pricing process, analyzing customer requirements, developing competitive bid pricing, and contributing to winning proposals.

When not engaged in bid/proposal work, the Pricing Analyst provides financial reporting support to stakeholders as required.

  • Receives minimal instruction on day-to-day work, general guidance on new assignments
Roles and Responsibilities:

Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects

Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, client-level P&L, objectives, and KPIs

Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the organization

Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to define pricing structures for company services offered

Ability to read and understand technical/requirement documents as well as legal documents such as customer contracts

Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry conditions

Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels

Other duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5-8 years' related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Proven experience developing clear and accurate deliverables from SME and technical source materials
  • Prior experience building pricing models
  • Ability to think critically and develop well-reasoned analysis; identify relevance and importance of information, understand logical connections between ideas, and solve problems systematically and creatively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with capability to build consensus and partnerships
