The Role of a Manager in Data and Analytics Operations

This position involves overseeing the operations of data and analytics programs. It requires an individual with a solid foundation in data governance, data analytics, cloud-based platforms, automation, and operational processes. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing scalable strategies for data and analytics solutions, improving platform performance, and ensuring availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining data and analytics programs to ensure alignment with business objectives, data governance standards, and enterprise data strategies.
  • Contribute to the implementation of real-time monitoring, automated alerting, and self-healing capabilities to enhance platform uptime and performance.
  • Support the development and enforcement of data governance models, operational frameworks, and execution roadmaps for seamless delivery.
  • Assist in standardizing and automating BI pipeline workflows, report generation, and dashboard refresh processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute data and analytics platform strategies and foster a data-first culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technology work experience in a large-scale global organization.
  • 7+ years of experience in the Data & Analytics field, with exposure to BI operations and tools.
  • Ability to empathize with customers, convey confidence, and explain technical issues to varied audiences effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, drive results, and ensure operational excellence.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and fostering a customer-first culture.
