Job Description:

The Role of a Senior Lean Manager involves overseeing the implementation and administration of Lean Management practices within a manufacturing plant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced leader to make a significant impact on our organization's operational efficiency and effectiveness.

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in Lean Six Sigma and 7-10 years of experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and administer Lean Management practice in the plant
  • Coach and train manufacturing teams on lean tools
  • Lead workshops to generate ideas for tangible improvement of key performance indicators
  • Work with shop floor workmen, team leaders & management team to deploy performance metrics & management routines for operational KPIs
  • Contribute to strategic capital expenditure planning for lean implementation
  • Communicate, sustain, and facilitate the implementation of lean thinking and principles
Requirements:
  • Domain Knowledge: Broad & Comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles of Lean Management (VSM, PULL, TAKT, JIT, SMED, KAIZEN, 5S, 7 Tools - WHY-WHY etc., JIDOKA, ANDON, HEIJUNKA, SWI & WCT, TPM, VISUAL FACTORY, SIX SIGMA, 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, IIOT, SMART FACTORY etc.)
  • Functional Skills: Business acumen, analytical skills, change management, decision making, drive for results
  • Behavioural Attributes: Strategic thinker, facilitation and interpersonal relationship, communication, presentation skill, problem-solving skills, knowledge and ability to train on methodologies, coaching, mentoring, energizing team members, collaborative mindset
