The role of the Financial Operations team is pivotal in supporting core accounting processes and operational initiatives within the organization.
This position forms part of the broader finance team, where we are seeking a driven, intellectually curious accounting professional to provide strong leadership to our Utilities team and ensure seamless departmental operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- To oversee and manage various aspects of the general ledger accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Lead and support a team responsible for executing high-volume, deadline-driven accounting operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of General Ledger and Cash accounts on a monthly basis.
- Manage and coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries.
